Alžběta Lexová
Alžběta Lexová je jedna polovina pražského yarn shopu Woolpoint, který otevřel své brány v lednu 2020. Tehdy přišla na slavnostní otevření, odnesla si klubko a jehlice a od onoho dne už pletení neodložila.
Postupně zakořenila i ve Woolpointu, kde ji můžete často potkat přímo v prodejně, nebo se bavit historkami o jejích pokusech a omylech v pravidelném videopodcastu na youtube a na jejím instagramovém a tiktokovém účtu.
Kromě pletení je taky zapálená amatérská fotografka a inspiraci pro své návody hledá převážně na dlouhých procházkách v přírodě. Fascinují ji netradiční barevné kombinace, ostré kontrasty, ale i jemné přechody, které umí příroda vykouzlit, a ráda do svých výtvorů zapojuje i hravou texturu nebo krajku.
Vlastní návody začala tvořit v roce 2023 a kromě knihy Radost v každém oku je můžete najít i na Ravelry a autorčiných internetových stránkách.

Alžběta Lexová is the co-owner of Woolpoint, a cozy Prague yarn shop that opened its doors in January 2020. What began as a casual visit to the store opening — where she picked up a skein and a pair of needles — quickly grew into a lifelong passion for knitting. She hasn’t put the needles down since.
These days, Alžběta is an integral part of Woolpoint itself. You can often find her behind the counter, chatting with customers, or sharing her many tales of trial and error in the store’s vlog on YouTube. She also chronicles her knitting journey with warmth and humor (hopefully) on Instagram and TikTok.
When she’s not knitting, Alžběta is usually behind a camera. Long walks in nature spark most of her ideas, from bold color pairings and striking contrasts to the subtle gradients only nature can conjure. She loves weaving playful textures and lace into her work.
Alžběta began publishing her own patterns in 2023, which can also be found on Ravelry and on her website.
